DFC Continues its work with VA’s Corporate Senior Executive Management Office in Support of a new Performance Review Process
Duty First Consulting (DFC) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the option year to a contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Corporate Senior Executive Management Office (CSEMO) to provide support and guidance on activities that promote an increased consistency and standardization to the performance review process. The DFC Team has been tasked with the development and facilitation of instructor led training that will cover the full life cycle of the performance review process; establishment, rating, assessment and monitoring of performance plans agency wide. The training will be designed for delivery as both live instruction to in person participants and virtual for remote staff. DFC will also work closely with CSEMO to provide support in the development of policy and strategic communications to ensure compliance with all aspects of the performance management process. This effort will focus on effectively communicating the value of the process to the senior executive population.
CSEMO is responsible for providing an enterprise-wide approach to the management of the senior executive cadre within VA and operates as a full service personnel office responsible for policy and operational issues to support VA leadership. Performance Management is one of its most critical business elements because it is the method being used to hold executives accountable for both individual and organizational performance. DFC’s efforts further strengthen CSEMO’s ability to service this targeted population. The Team will provide fully developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training that will lead to a well-trained and informed SE population offering insight on how to draft effective performance standards and measures that are aligned to strategic organization initiatives.
