On Sunday, October 4, the DFC team supported Veterans and their families by volunteering their time to support Luke’s Wings’ Heroes Walk To Fly event. This event is a 1.5 mile family-friendly tribute walk that allows participants to experience the value of the services supported by Luke’s Wings. DFC employees helped support the event by assisting with registration and breakfast, guiding walkers along the route, and passing out goodie bags at the finish line.

Luke’s Wings is an incredible organization that provides transportation, mainly flights, to reunite service members who were wounded in battle with their families while they are in treatment in various facilities across the country. 100% of the proceeds from the Heroes Walk To Fly event go towards providing airline tickets for our Wounded Warriors and their military friends and families to #keepthemflying.
