Duty First Consulting (DFC) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, to provide communications and outreach support to promote the Fully Developed Claims (FDC) Program including generating awareness, understanding, and use of the FDC Program, encouraging online submissions via eBenefits or SEP and working with accredited Veterans Service Officers (VSOs) to assist with FDC submission.

The FDC program offers Veterans, Service members and survivors the best opportunity to receive faster decisions from VA on compensation, pension, and survivor benefit claims. SEP offers business partners, stakeholders and those who provide services to Veterans a secure web-based portal to VA systems that will help them improve their efficiency in providing services to Veterans. These integrated online initiatives, which combine innovative technologies with redesigned business processes, help to eliminate the submission of paper-based forms and reduce claims processing time. They also stand as a beacon of VA’s larger transformation effort to become more technologically and business savvy, Veteran-centric and results driven.
