DFC Awarded Contract with VA to Conduct Workforce Analysis and Improve Human Resources Processes

Duty First Consulting LLC (DFC) is excited to announce it was recently awarded a contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to conduct workforce analysis related to staffing and scheduling at VA medical centers and clinics. In an effort to improve Veterans’ access to care, VHA is seeking support for analyzing the Medical Support Assistant (MSA) workforce and making Human Resources (HR) process improvements to better serve our Veterans and support the health care professionals who care for them.

DFC’s Human Capital team, leveraging their vast experience and insight, is tasked with addressing organizational and personnel challenges and providing solutions that allow VHA to improve availability of its staff to perform scheduling duties and create protected time for doctors and nurses to provide the best possible care. In support of the award, the DFC Team will conduct a workforce analysis and assessment of VA clinic scheduling practices, establish recruitment and retention best practices, and make HR process improvement recommendations. DFC will also develop a communications and outreach strategy and create plans for implementation of the recommendations.
