Duty First Consulting LLC (DFC) is excited to announce it was recently awarded a multi-year contract with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH) Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) to provide Management Consulting, Business Process Reengineering, Data Management, and Process and System Design services for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program. REAC performs physical and financial assessments of affordable housing properties and is currently undertaking a new initiative to implement a new physical inspection and oversight process for its’ HCV properties. The goal of this initiative is to reengineer its business model and create more streamlined and integrated assessment data that will better support HUD priorities.

DFC’s Business Process and Strategy team will lead this effort with support from our teaming partner, Deloitte Consulting LLP. Together, the DFC Team will bring a wealth of HUD-specific experience and continue their support of HUD’s strategic objectives. As HUD’s strategic partner, the DFC Team will help REAC solve its complex organizational needs by providing:

• Business process consulting services for the HCV physical inspection transition to a new inspection standard,
• Business process reengineering and implementation support services,
• Consulting support services to assist HUD in the design of processes and data models for the analysis and processing of non-HUD owned physical inspection data, and
• Business process improvement supplemental analysis.
