Duty First Consulting (DFC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Kate Fennell to a Partner in the firm. Kate is an experienced business, communications, and marketing executive with more than 15 years experience leading health and benefits related work for private and public sector agencies. Her professional expertise extends from business operations and business development to applying private-sector marketing models to health-related social programs.

Ms. Fennell joined DFC in 2010 to build the Strategic Communications and Research practice. In her role as the Director of the practice, Kate leads a growing team of communications and business professionals working with diverse clients including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Army National Guard.

Prior to joining DFC, Ms. Fennell held senior positions within the Public Sector Practice and Social Marketing & Applied Research team at BearingPoint and Deloitte Consulting. She received her Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University and her Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

Her tireless dedication and investment in expanding DFC, along with her commitment to building a professional, strong and supportive workplace culture, make her an outstanding choice for this new role. DFC is honored to have her in this new leadership capacity.
