Terry Speegle

Mr. Speegle, MBA, a Service-Disabled Veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Military Academy Graduate, is President, CEO, and Co-Founder of Duty First Consulting.
He provides strategic direction for the firm and oversees all service areas and client solutions. Mr. Speegle is committed to delivering innovative and actionable advisory services to government and non-profit clients in both the United States and abroad. With over 30 years of consulting experience focusing on business process, strategy, and information technology, communications, and management, Mr. Speegle has extensive experience in the delivery of management consulting and systems integration services.
Prior to Duty First Consulting, Mr. Speegle was responsible for consulting engagements at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), US Military Health System (MHS) and other government clients while working as a managing director at BearingPoint, Inc. (formerly KPMG LLP & KPMG Consulting). In this role, Mr. Speegle managed programs and delivered a wide variety of services dealing with public beneficiaries, Veterans, transitioning soldiers, and other stakeholders. He also led the architecture and strategic development teams for programs at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Mr. Speegle has lectured on computer science and business as adjunct faculty at Florida State University and the University of Otago and Massey in Auckland, New Zealand.
