DFC sponsored this weekend’s Out of the Darkness Walk in Fairfax, Va. in support of American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

More than 1,300 walkers participated, raising over $180,000 dollars in the Fairfax event, which is one of hundreds of community walks held in cities across the country. These events raise awareness for suicide prevention resources and help change the conversation around mental help by encouraging people to reach out with their own struggle or loss.

DFC’s sponsorship was coordinated through its corporate charitable and wellness programs in memory of someone in the DFC Family.
